Led by singer-guitarist Leah Wellbaum and drummer Will Gorin, the Slothrust band welds grunge crunch to blues and jazz undercurrents, topped with sharp, funny, and searching lyrics. Their song "7:30 AM" became the theme for the FX series You're the Worst, and albums like The Pact and Parallel Timeline built a devoted following over more than a decade. In 2026 the group signed to Equal Vision Records and released the single "Burn the Deck." Get Slothrust tickets at Event Tickets Center.

Slothrust Tour Dates

The Dystopian Theatre Tour, the band's first headline run in more than a year, opens at Reverb Lounge in Omaha, Nebraska on September 15, 2026, and closes at The Bellwether in Los Angeles, California on November 18, 2026. Early in the run, the Slothrust tour makes a festival stop at Riot Fest in Chicago, with The Velveteers and Um, Jennifer? handling support in select cities. The band has framed the run as an immersive night out rather than a standard club set, a nod to the tour's dystopian theme.

Slothrust Set List and Concert Info

When the band played the Echoplex in Los Angeles in 2024, the set ran through "Juice," "The Next Curse," "Double Down," the grunge-leaning "Cranium," and the sprawling "Planetarium," with an unlikely cover thrown in for good measure. Shows tend to run around 90 minutes and swing between quiet, jazzy passages and heavy, distorted payoffs. Wellbaum's guitar work anchors it all, and the trio format leaves room for the songs to stretch and shift live. With new material arriving in 2026, expect the newer songs to share the set with longtime favorites.
