Jason Mraz is coming to a stage near you! The multi-platinum singer/songwriter announced he’ll be hitting the road alongside longtime friends and collaborators Raining Jane for a North American tour set to kick off this fall.

The newly announced “Ladies & Gentleman, an Evening with Jason Mraz & Raining Jane” gets underway October 23 with a show in Modesto, CA before setting out to hit a slew of cities including Portland, Seattle, Carmel, and New Buffalo. Mraz will wrap things up with a pair of shows in Chicago November 23-24.

News of the upcoming tour comes on the heels of the “I’m Yours” singer’s global “Good Vibes Tour,” which saw him take the stage at arenas and pavilions across North America, Europe, and Asia.

“Ladies & Gentleman” will feature old favorites as well as some new material, including tracks from Mraz’s latest studio album, Know. “I am thrilled to be returning to intimate venues with Raining Jane," Mraz shared. "I love the sounds and stories we make as a 5 piece."

Raining Jane echoed Mraz’s sentiments in a post to social media. "YES! You KNOW we are fired up to play some intimate shows around the US. Excited to share some new tunes we've been working on together, and our interpretations of Mraz classics!"

Who is Jason Mraz?

Pop rock singer/songwriter Jason Mraz emerged from the San Diego coffee shop scene in the early 2000s, releasing his debut studio album Waiting for My Rocket to Come in 2002. The album housed Mraz’s smash hit single “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry),” which reached the number 15 spot on the Hot 100 and became his first of many Top 40 hits. Commercial success would follow with the release of his second album Mr. A-Z in 2005, reaching number five on the Billboard 200 and selling over 100,000 copies across the US. Mraz’s early successes were a sign of things to come for the rising star, who would go on to release five additional studio albums, each of which debuted within the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. Mraz has earned two Grammy Awards and several other prestigious awards over the course of his career, including a People’s Choice Award and the Hal David Songwriters Hall of Fame Award. He has achieved platinum and multi-platinum album sales in over 20 countries, selling over seven million albums worldwide.

Who is Raining Jane?

All-female rock quartet Raining Jane got their start nearly two decades ago, touring the national college market and independently managing themselves. Through relentless touring in their early days, the group garnered an extensive fanbase, eventually releasing four albums. In 2006, the girls opened a show for Jason Mraz, marking the beginning of a long and fruitful friendship. Instant musical chemistry between the five musicians led to a steadily growing catalog of co-written songs, including “A Beautiful Mess” and 11 collaborations on Mraz’s 2014 studio album, Yes! Raining Jane continues to work on collaborations with Mraz, contributing to his most recent album Know in 2018 and joining him on the road as his touring band throughout the US and abroad.
