Why You Need to See The Almost Live

The Almost is the emo side project of Underoath drummer and occasional lead singer Aaran Gillespie. Wanting to explore a different outlet for his songwriting outside of the hard-hitting metal-core sound of Underoath, he released The Almost's debut album Southern Weather in 2007, featuring Gillespie on all instruments. He would later recruit members to form a full band for touring. Moving forward, Gillespie would opt for a more collaborative approach to the band's songwriting, resulting in 2009's Tooth & Nail. Their third full-length album Fear Inside Our Bones would followed in 2013.
