Why You Need to See The Band's Visit Live

The Band’s Visit is a musical composed by David Yazbek based on the 2007 film of the same name. It follows the story of the Alexandria Ceremonial Police Orchestra, composed of eight Egyptian musicians who accidentally arrive in a small town in Israel’s Negev Desert. As they find themselves in a foreign place with no transportation or hotels, they learn to overcome ethnic barriers to get by. The musical premiered in 2016 and won the 2017 Obie Award for Musical Theatre and the New York Drama Critics' Circle award for Best Musical.
