Sandy Y Junior
Brazilian pop duo Sany Y Junior is a musical group made up of siblings Sandy Leah Lima and Durval de Lima Junior. The siblings first gained notoriety as being the children of Xororó from popular sertanejo duo Chitãozinho & Xororó. As children, Sandy and Junior sang popular children's songs and sertanejo-influenced tracks including their first single "Maria Chiquinha". Their style evolved by the time the two were in their teens, leaning more towards a pop-influenced sound, releasing mostly ballads and up-beat tracks. Sandy and Junior became pop sensations in the late 1990s, releasing a series of wildly successful albums including Era Uma Vez... Ao Vivo (1998), As Quatro Estações (1999), Quatro Estações: O Show (2000) and Sandy & Junior (2001). The duo is considered one of the best-selling Brazilian artists of all time, having sold over 20 million albums.
