San Jose Sharks
The San Jose Sharks are resuming the remainder of their 2019-2020 season in the NHL "bubble," located in Edmonton, AB. The "bubble" is intended to keep NHL staff, players, and their families safe from complications related to COVID-19, and does not permit fan attendance at games.
The San Jose Sharks compete in the Pacific Division of the National Hockey League. They joined the NHL in 1991 with great anticipation by the area as well as fans from all over the country. The Sharks have always been stationed in San Jose, and there is no reason to think that this is going to change anytime in the near future. The fans have really taken to the team, and are proud of what they stand for.
The Sharks play their home games at SAP Center. This arena opened in 1993, and the Sharks promptly moved in. With modern amenities and features, fans immediately took to what this arena had to offer. And this still holds to this day.
Over the years the Sharks have done a nice job signing some top notch players. They include Owen Nolan, Jeff Friesen, Patrick Marleau, and Vincent Damphousee among many others.
