Arizona Coyotes

Coronavirus Update

The Arizona Coyotes are resuming the remainder of their 2019-2020 season in the NHL "bubble," located in Edmonton, AB. The "bubble" is intended to keep NHL staff, players, and their families safe from complications related to COVID-19, and does not permit fan attendance at games.

The Arizona Coyotes compete in the Pacific Division of the National Hockey League. The franchise moved to Phoenix in 1996, but they were not always located in this city. From 1972 to 1996 they were known as Winnipeg Jets. Although the people of Winnipeg were sad to see the franchise go, fans in Phoenix have really embraced the team over the years.

The Coyotes play their home games at Gila River Arena. Both players and fans love what this arena has to offer. It is safe to say that this is going to help the Coyotes to take their success to the next level.

Many great players have competed for the Coyotes. Some of the more popular names include Dale Hawerchuk, Thomas Steen, Keith Tkachuk, Shane Doan, and Jeremy Roenick among many others.

The Arizona Coyotes are on their way up. Even though they have struggled in the past, it is safe to say that this is not going to be the case for many more years to come.
