TPC Sawgrass is located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and is one of the most well known courses in the country. This was the first Tournament Players Club course, and many feel that this is the best of them all. But regardless of where TPC Sawgrass stands among the crowd, one thing is for sure; this is one of the most challenging courses in the country.

The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass is one that most golfers have heard of. Each year, the PGA Tour "The Players Championship" tournament takes place there. As mentioned above, this is thought to be among the most difficult courses in the country, if not the world. This course was designed by Alice and Pete Dye, and opened for business in 1980.

One of the most famous holes in golf is located at the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 17th hole is a par 3 that measures only 132 yards. But despite the short length, this is a difficult hole to master due in large part to the island green. If you miss in any direction there is a good chance that your ball is going to end up in the water.
