Joseph Saddler, better known by his stage name Grandmaster Flash, is a hip-hop recording artist and DJ. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of hip-hop, DJing, cutting, scratching, and mixing. Grandmaster Flash has been a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee since 2007 as part of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. They were the first ever hip-hop act to be honored.
