The Celeste Center is located in Columbus, Ohio on the Ohio Exposition Center and State Fairgrounds. This multipurpose venue is used for everything from concerts to sporting events to trade shows. With such versatility, it is easy to see why the Celeste Center never has a hard time attracting events on a regular basis. The Celeste Center is named after former Ohio Governor Richard F. Celeste.
The Celeste Center is made up of approximately 60,000 square feet of floor space. This is in addition to two stages; one portable and one permanent. With an excellent sound system and low ceilings, the Celeste Center can really rock during a concert.
Over the years, the Celeste Center has hosted many of the best names in music. Christina Aguilera played at this venue in 1999; part of her first tour as a professional singer. The event was sold out, and is still one of the best in its history.
With a seating capacity of 10,200, the Celeste Center is not the largest venue in the area. But with a good level of versatility and modern features, it has plenty to offer fans and performers alike.
