American Airlines Theatre - New York, NY

The American Airlines Theatre is located at 227 West 42nd Street in New York City, New York. This Broadway theatre has a lot to offer and will always be one of the tops in the area.

The American Airlines Theatre was constructed in 1918 by the Selwyn Brothers. The original name of this venue was the Selwyn Theatre. Upon being restored and reopened in June of 2000, the venue was renamed the American Airlines Theatre.

Since reopening in 2000, there have been several tenants at the American Airlines Theatre. They include: The Man Who Came to Dinner, Betrayal, Design for Living, The Boys from Syracuse, A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, Big River, The Pajama Game, Prelude to a Kiss, Old Acquaintance, and many more. As you can see, the American Airlines Theatre never has a difficult time staying busy.

Since day one, the American Airlines Theatre has had a lot to offer the Broadway theatre crowd. And guess what? There is no reason to think that this will ever change.
