John Fogerty is a roots rock musician from Berkeley, California who made his claim to fame as the front man and primary songwriter of the legendary blues rock band of the 60’s and 70’s, Creedence Clearwater Revival. CCR enjoyed a five year run where they were wildly popular, putting out timeless hits such as ‘Down on The Corner’, ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’, and ‘Bad Moon Rising’. Fogerty, with CCR, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. When Creedence disbanded, Fogerty went on to purse a solo career.
John Fogerty started his career by recording country covers, and eventually went on to write his own original songs on a major record label. He collaborated with other highly acclaimed artists, and quickly acquired a significant new era of fans. The rock legend has been named twice on Rolling Stone's '100 Greatest' list (singer and guitarist), and continues to spread the wealth of his musical talents through live performances for millions of fans.
