Bret Michaels is a singer-songwriter from Butler, Pennsylvania, who is most well known as the front man and lead vocalist of the popular 1980’s glam rock group ‘Poison’. Poison saw international success and sold millions of records, and have been regarded by many critics as the greatest hair metal group of all time. Following the downfall of the band, Michaels went on to release music as a solo artist, and eventually morphed into a television celebrity after several guest appearances and with his very own ‘Rock of Love with Bret Michaels’.
