Train Announces 2022 AM Gold Tour
Train has announced plans for an extensive trek this summer in support of their upcoming album, and they're bringing some famous friends along with them for the ride!
The 38-date AM Gold Tour kicks off June 8 in Mansfield, MA before setting out to hit cities including Philadelphia, Nashville, Austin, and San Diego. A final performance at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO will wrap things up on August 6.
Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Jewel will serve as support, as well as rock group Blues Traveler.
The upcoming tour will be in support of Train's upcoming release AM Gold, their 11th studio album due out May 20. AM Gold will mark the band's first release since 2017's A Girl, A Bottle, A Boat.
"Writing songs for two and a half years in front of video screens instead of being in the presence of humans has been a long, strange trip. And now here we are," Train frontman Pat Monahan says. "It has to start with love. Love that goes into work comes out of work. We love this song, this album, and our fans. Thank you for waiting so long for us."
Check out a full list of dates and stops below to see when Train and Jewel will be hitting a stage near you, and be sure to snag yourself some tickets while you're at it.

The album housed their first of many hit singles, "Meet Virginia." In 2001, Train released their second album Drops of Jupiter, launching the group international fame and earning two Grammy Awards. Their third album, My Private Nation, arrived in 2003 and brought with it continued success, earning a platinum certification on the strength of hit single "Calling All Angels." Train would go on to release six additional studio albums, including 2009's Save Me, San Francisco and 2012's California 37, which housed massive hit singles "Hey Soul Sister" and "Drive By," respectively.
