Big news, No Shoes Nation! Kenny Chesney has confirmed he'll be hitting the road in 2023 on the newly-announced I Go Back Tour.

The 21-date trek gets underway on March 25 in State College, PA, and will see Chesney hit the stage in cities including Oklahoma City, Jacksonville, Greensboro, and Lincoln. A final performance in Des Moines, IA will bring wrap things up on July 22.

Fellow country star and Knoxville, TN native Kelsea Ballerini will join as Chesney's special guest throughout the tour's entirety. The two had previously earned a No. 1 Billboard Country Airplay hit with their 2021 collaboration "Half of My Hometown." The track also earned CMA Awards honors for Video of the Year and Musical Event of the Year.

The I Go Back Tour will see Chesney revisit some of the cities that marked the early days of his career, and is appropriately named after his track I Go Back.

"That song is about holding all those things that shaped you very close, recognizing how special they are - and keeping them alive any way you can," Chesney shared in a statement. "So, I decided that rather than just go repeat what we did, I wanted to take this band and these song to a lot of the cities we played on our way up1 Let's call the tour I Go Back - and do just that."

Who is Kenny Chesney?

Kenny Chesney stepped into the spotlight in the early 1990s with the release of his debut album In My Wildest Dreams in 1993. It would be a few more years before Che broke into the mainstream, finally landing a pair of Top Ten hits from his second album All I Need to Know in 1995. Chesney has maintained his presence atop the charts with subsequent releases over the course of his career. He has recorded a total of 20 albums to date, each of which has been certified gold or higher by the RIAA, and produced over 40 Top Ten singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, several of which have charted within the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, making him one of the most successful crossover country artists of all time. Among his many accomplishments, Chesney has also been the recipient of four consecutive CMA Awards for Entertainer of the Year – the most prestigious award for country performers everywhere.
