TPC Deere Run is also known by many as the Tournament Players Club at Deere Run. But no matter what you call this venue, it is safe to say that it will always have a lot to offer golfers and spectators alike. The area in which TPC Deere Run is located is among the best in the world. TPC Deere Run sits in Davenport, Iowa and Silvis, Illinois between the Mississippi and Rock Rivers. As you can imagine, this makes for an amazing atmosphere for anybody who is walking the course.
Every year, TPC Deere Run plays host to the PGA Tour John Deere Classic. From the championship tees, the course is approximately 7,180 yards in length. Even though this is not a long course, the opportunity to record a low score is no easy task. Natural rock formations and many elevation changes make it difficult for even the best players to conquer every hole.
The PGA Tour Design Service and D.A. Weibring Golf Resources did a great job in designing this 18 hole masterpiece. It is safe to say that this course is not something that was thrown together overnight. With so much detail, there is no guessing how many hours went into the design process.
TPC Deere Run is a great club that offers plenty of challenges to golfers, and a great atmosphere for spectators.
