The State Theatre is a nonprofit venue in New Brunswick, New Jersey. In 1921 the State Theatre opened for business. Although it has undergone many changes over the years, State Theatre tickets are still as popular as ever - this says a lot for how much the venue has to offer.
In 2003, the State Theatre underwent a multimillion dollar renovation project that brought it up to modern standards. Upon reopening in 2004 the facility immediately gained national recognition. Jay Leno was the first act to play at the theatre after opening.
