Lerman and Conte began brainstorming on ways they could create music together despite the distance between them when decided to meet up once a month in Los Angeles to record songs and catch up. With the help and support of local musicians in the LA area, the group would gather and record themselves jamming and hanging out – no frills, no arrangements, no pre-production.
