Willie Nelson's Outlaw Fest is back and ready to roll in 2022.

This year's run includes 15 cities, starting with St. Louis, MO on June 24 and closing out on September 13 in Hartford, CT. Stops along the way include Grand Rapids, Dallas, Pittsburgh, and Atlanta.

Acts like Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, ZZ Top, Larkin Poe, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Avett Brothers, Gov't Mule, and more are slated to perform on select dates throughout the trek.

"The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about family and friends coming together for a great day of music and fun," Nelson said in a statement. "With the amazing group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw Tour to date."

Who is Willie Nelson?

Country music legend and rock singer/songwriter Willie Nelson first emerged onto the music scene in the early 1970s. He is known around the globe for his contributions to music, serving as an influence for country music and rock music artists everywhere. Nelson has made a massive impact on a variety of audiences and is credited with popularizing the outlaw country genre.

Aside from his significant contributions to the world of music, Nelson is also known for being an outspoken activist on a variety of social and environmental issues. He uses his platform and music/poetry to promote his values and inspire others around the world to do the same. Among his many efforts, Nelson has helped to spearhead the family farm-friendly initiative ‘Farm Aid,’ and has also been a huge proponent in the movement to legalize marijuana in the U.S. He is an avid animal rights activist as well.

Known as a living legend, it is no wonder Nelson has countless awards under his belt, including several Grammy and American Music Awards. He has been inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame, as well as the National Agricultural Hall of Fame for his labor in Farm Aid and other efforts to benefit farmers. He has been the author and the subject of several books, and also acted in multiple films.
