There is no better display of school spirit than packed stands on game days at the University of Denver. To help more fans be part of those moments, on Jan. 13, 2026, Event Tickets Center (ETC) announced a new collegiate partnership with the University of Denver Athletics Department focused on increased access to seamless and secure ticketing experiences.

ETC is Proud to Join the DU Community

ETC will serve as the Pioneers’ Official Secondary Ticketing Partner for the 2026-27 athletic seasons, creating opportunities for cross-brand activations and access to secure resale tickets for DU athletic events.

The partnership is a natural fit due to its local nature: ETC has an office in Denver, which makes it easier for the team to stay close to campus, attend games, and consistently support DU fans and community initiatives.

Fueling the Next Era of Competition for University of Denver Athletics

The Denver Pioneers compete in NCAA Division I, and the timing of this partnership lines up with a major milestone: DU’s move to the West Coast Conference, which takes effect July 1, 2026.

Why This Partnership Makes Sense for Denver Sports

University of Denver sports already deliver a true home-team feel, and this partnership keeps that momentum pointed toward what fans care about most: getting into the building with less friction when demand spikes.

It also fits the city. With ETC team members based locally, the partnership is built for real presence, including on-site support and promotion that reflects how Denver supports its college teams.

Using Live Sports As a Platform to Bring People Together

Magness Arena is home to DU hockey, one of the cornerstones of Denver U sports, and a hub of community throughout the season. That sense of togetherness is exactly what the arena is built for: sold-out hockey nights and big-match energy. With this partnership, ETC is helping keep that “let’s-go-together” pipeline open, so more friends, families, students, and alumni can make the best of a random weeknight at this beloved venue.

More Than a Seat: Expanding Access for Every Pioneer Fan

This partnership is designed to widen the paths to game day, especially when plans change or tickets get tight. ETC’s role as secondary ticketing partner means DU fans have another trusted place to find resale inventory when they want to be there live.

As DU enters the West Coast Conference era, that access becomes even more important, with new matchups and fresh storylines that tend to draw bigger crowds and more first-time attendees.

The Benefits of a Trusted Secondary Marketplace

A secondary marketplace should feel straightforward: clear options, secure checkout, and confidence that your tickets will work. ETC backs purchases with its 100% Buyer Guarantee, providing peace of mind every step of the way. The goal is simple: give fans more legitimate routes to cheer for the Pioneers.

Beyond the Scoreboard: Community and Looking Ahead

ETC and DU Athletics plan to collaborate through marketing assets, including video board features, commercial spots on the program’s streaming network, banner ads, and digital activations, all aimed at supporting a seamless ticket-buying process. The partnership is also linked to an ETC Cares initiative, including a future meet-and-greet for selected fans, and ongoing community presence as DU steps into its new conference.
