The Fox Theater is a historic performing arts center and live entertainment venue in Bakersfield, California. Its rich history includes performances by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including B.B. King, Willie Nelson, George Thorogood, The Moody Blues, The Black Crowes and countless others.
Outside food or beverages, large bags/backpacks, professional cameras and video or audio recording devices are prohibited.
The Fox Theater opened its doors in 1930 and featuring motion picture films as well as live performances. The Theater closed its doors after 47 years in 1977 and sat vacant until 1994 when it was given new life by the Fox Theater Foundation. Today, the Theater is the number one destination for arts and entertainment in downtown Bakersfield.
