The top Broadway musical ticket sellers are in, showing another strong week for Wicked, Aladdin and The Lion King.

Clearly, Wicked fans aren’t backing down, contributing to the musical’s number one weekly slot for the fifth week in a row. Following Wicked this week is Aladdin, which has also enjoyed a long stay among the top five. The Lion King isn’t far behind, also solidifying its spot as a regular among musical goers.

So, what do the top three musicals have in common? Catchy and memorable tunes. The Lion King and Aladdin tap into music inspired by Disney Classics, while Wicked brings a host of popular tracks written by Stephen Schwartz.

New to the mix last week was Phantom of the Opera — and it seems to be staking its claim, coming in once again at number four. The musical’s spring into popularity wasn’t all too surprising considering its long history. It just goes to show: Once a classic, always a classic.

Hamilton made its way back into the top five. Last week, it was nudged out by School of Rock, the musical based on the hit comedic movie. Hamilton has regularly represented its fans in the top five, yet it’ll be interesting to see if the dynamic musical can hang on through the season — it’s followed by Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 and The Book of Mormon, both of which have enjoyed their spotlight among the top five previously.
