The Mercedes-Benz Superdome formerly Louisiana Superdome is located in New Orleans, Louisiana. It has been open since August of 1975, and only had to close down one time due to a hurricane damaging its structure. Over the years, many great games have played out inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. And it is safe to say that many more are going to take place in the next few years. The New Orleans Saints of the NFL are the main tenant of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. They have been playing at this venue since 1975. The NCAA Division I College Football Sugar Bowl is also played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome each year. Additionally, the Tulane University football team also uses the venue for home games.
