Electronic music group Metronomy was established in the late 1990s, led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Joseph Mount. The band has grown from their lo-fi, side project days into one of the most creative electro-pop acts, drawing on influences from a range of artists from Devo and David Bowie to N.E.R.D. and Pavement. Metronomy released their debut full-length album Pip Paine (Pay the £5000 You Owe) in 2006, followed by subsequent releases Nights Out (2008), The English Riviera (2011), Love Letters (2014), Summer 08 (2016), and Metronomy Forever (2019).
