James Arthur rose to fame after winning on the British X Factor's ninth season in 2012. Arthur won the hearts of the public with his unique style and voice, drawing on influences of pop, rock and hip-hop. His debut single - a cover of Shontelle's "Impossible" - was released following the shows finale, going debut at the number one spot on the UK Singles Chart. The track has since sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide, making it the most successful winner's single in the shows history. Arthur's follow-up single "You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You" proved to be another chart-topping success, followed by the release of his self-titled debut album in 2013.
