Musical duo Cherub emerged in the early 2010s boasting an electro-indie sound heavily influenced by '80s post-disco synth pop and funk. The two made their mainstream breakthrough in 2014 with the release of their hit single Doses & Mimosas, charting at number 43 on Billboard's Rock Airplay chart and number 23 on the Alternative Songs chart. Cherub released three studio albums include MoM & DaD (2012), Year of the Caprese (2014), and Bleed Gold, Piss Excellence (2016) before entering a two year hiatus. They returned in 2018 with new singles "All In," Dancing Shoes," "Body Language," and "Wat That."
