The Waukesha County Fairgrounds has been an integral part of the Wisconsin community for nearly 180 years. Founded in 1842, the historic festival grounds host a variety of popular annual events, including county fairs, live concerts, and car shows. Boasting a large grandstand arena, two main exhibition buildings, multiple outdoor sports facilities, and two permanent livestock exhibits, the complex is also a popular rental space for private individuals and community organizations. The first Fair was held in 1842 in Prairieville, making it the oldest county fair in Wisconsin. In 1969, after over a hundred years of its beginning, Waukesha County Fair moved to its present location. It is a family event with lots of fun and entertainment for everyone.

There are beautiful trails along the Fox River, such as Minooka Park and Trout Springs Park, where you can go fishing or take a nice stroll. The Rotary Botanical Gardens are home to more than 20 theme gardens, and Waubedonia Park offers plenty of mesmerizing views.
