Shaggy

Shaggy was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, where he took up signing classes and and perfected his signature voice while in the Marine Corps. His first hit came in 1993 with “Oh Carolina,” and he catapulted into the mainstream in 2000 with the release of the album, Hot Shot. The album was certified platinum six times, supported by the hit singles “It Wasn’t Me” and “Angel.” Hot Shot was the first reggae album to hit number one on the U.S. charts since Shabba Ranks in 1991. His 1996 album, Boombastic, earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Shaggy’s most recent musical endeavor was produced with English musician and good friend Sting in 2018. The album, titled 44/876, aims to celebrate Jamaican culture with a tropical sound.

The duo announced a tour, named after the album set to kick off this fall. Don’t miss out on witnessing these iconic artists as they combine their bands to put on a dynamic and vibrant joint live show!
