CNCO rose to fame as the winners of Simon Cowell’s Latin American singing competition La Banda in 2015. The Spanish-language boy band was formed after the five remaining show contestants were combined into CNCO. Lead by La Banda judge and manager Ricky Martin, CNCO consists of Christopher Velez, Richard Camacho, Joel Pimental, Erick Brian Colón, and Zabdiel de Jesus. Over the course of the season, the boys would perform covers of various hits by acts like Selena, Ed Sheeran, Christina Perri, Justin Bieber, and Meghan Trainor. Following their hard-earned win, the boys were signed to Sony Music Latin, releasing their debut album Primera Cita in 2016. Later that same year, CNCO joined Ricky Martin as the opening act on his “One World Tour.” The group has released successful standalone singles since dropping their debut album, including “Mamita” and "Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)."
