New Mexico United is a professional soccer team based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, playing in the USL Championship League, the second division of American soccer. Founded in 2018, the team has quickly gained a passionate following and become an important part of the local sports scene.

The team plays their home games at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park, a baseball stadium that converts to accommodate soccer. The stadium has a capacity of over 13,000 and features a natural grass playing surface. Despite not being a purpose-built soccer stadium, Isotopes Park provides an excellent atmosphere for the team and its fans.

In their debut season, New Mexico United made it to the USL Championship Play-In Rounds, where they fell short of advancing to the playoffs. The team improved the following season however, making it to the conference semi-finals.

Off the field, New Mexico United has been recognized for their commitment to the community and social justice causes. The team has partnered with various local organizations to promote equality and support the community.
