Indie-electro band Haerts was formed when childhood friends Nini Fabi and Ben Gebert left their homeland in Germany, setting out for NYC. The two began to record songs in a small apartment, slowly accruing other bandmates in friends and other like-minded musicians from all around the globe. Working internationally, the artists sent digital files back and forth, working the tracks and perfecting their unique sound. Haerts made their mainstream breakthrough with the release of their debut single “Wings” in 2012, which received regular airplay throughout the US and was followed by the equally popular second single, “All The Days.” A year later, the duo released the Hemiplegia EP, which was produced by fellow indie-pop artist St. Lucia. They returned in 2014 with the successful release of their debut self-titled album, touring extensively throughout 2015 to promote it. Their sophomore album, New Compassion, is due out in October 2018.
