The Baltimore Ravens compete in the AFC North Division of the National Football League. The Ravens have been competing in the league since 1996, and they have done quite the job in such a short period of time. Even though they are one of the youngest franchises, they have really shown the league that they are prepared to win each time that they take the field.
The Ravens play their home games at the modern M & T Bank Stadium. Fans love this venue because of the great seats and concessions. And of course, Ravens players like the noise that they make every time that they take the field. In fact, this stadium has been known as one of the loudest in the entire league.
The Ravens won the Super Bowl in 2000; that same year they obviously won their conference as well. They have also won their division twice; 2003 and 2006. It is safe to say that the organization is excited about continuing this winning tradition for many more years to come.
Many great players have competed for the Ravens. Some of the more popular names include Ray Lewis, Shannon Sharpe, Peter Boulware, and Ben Coates among many others.
As you can see, the Ravens franchise is dedicated to winning. Every year they are a threat to win the division and make a run in the playoffs. And it does not appear that this is going to change anytime soon.
M&T Bank Stadium is located in Baltimore, Maryland. The venue opened in 1998, which makes it one of the newest in eastern part of the United States. Although M&T Bank Stadium is not as new as some venues, you will never hear anybody complain about it. Not only do all seats have great sightlines of the field, but the concessions are also top notch as well. As you can imagine, both of these things make fans very happy.
In the past, the venue was also known as Ravens Stadium, PSINet Stadium, and Ravens Stadium and Camden Yards. No matter what you call the venue, it is good to know that all events are fun and exciting. Just make sure you search for your M&T Bank Stadium tickets as far in advance as possible.
The Baltimore Ravens of the NFL are the only team that plays their home games at M&T Bank Stadium. In the past, the Baltimore Bayhawks of the MLL also played at this venue. But even though there are not many professional sporting events that take place at this stadium, this does not mean that it sits dormant throughout the rest of the year.
In July 2009, FC Chelsea took on Italian Calcio Serie in a soccer match that drew 71,203 fans.
M&T Bank Stadium has been used for several college football, high school football, and lacrosse games over the years. Additionally, the stadium was also featured in depth in the movie The Replacements. This movie was released in 2000, and went a long way in drawing attention to an already great stadium.
As you can see, M&T Bank Stadium has quite a bit to offer. The modern amenities inside and out allow fans to have fun. And of course, the players who take to the field also love what it has to offer.
