Daytona 500
The Daytona 500 is the first race of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. It serves as the final event of Speedweeks and is sometimes referred to as “The Great American Race.” Since its inception, the Daytona 500 has been held from mid-to-late February each year. Winners of this prestigious race are presented with the Harley J. Earl Trophy in Victory Lane. The winning car is put on display as-is at the Daytona 500 Experience, a museum and gallery adjacent to the speedway.
