Who are Paramore?
Paramore is an alt-rock band that first stepped onto the scene in 2004, releasing their debut album All We Know is Falling the following year. Their second album, Riot!, followed two years later in 2007, launching the band to mainstream success on the strength of singles "Misery Business," "Crushcrushcrush," and "That's What You Get." Riot! would receive a platinum certification from the RIAA, earning Paramore their first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist in 2008. In the years that followed their breakthrough success, Paramore continued to release chart-topping albums, including their self-titled fourth album, which hit the number one spot in several countries and earned the group their first Grammy award for Best Rock Song for the track "Ain't It Fun." Paramore's lineup has undergone several changes over the course of their time in the spotlight, the only constant member being the lead vocalist and songwriter Hayley Williams. The band consists of founding members Williams and drummer Zac Farro, and guitarist Taylor York.
