However, as it is climate-controlled, it might be worth bringing a light jacket just in case it gets a little chilly inside.

Is Sphere ADA Accessible?

Sphere is committed to providing a comfortable experience for all guests. Assistive listening is available, and so is sensory accessibility. The venue is ADA compliant, too. Rideshare Drop-off and Pickup Location

At Sphere, there are specific pick-up locations for rideshare users. You’ll find the designated pick-up spots at the corner of Manhattan St and Westchester Drive. Using rideshare to attend an event is a great option because it eliminates the stress of finding parking, which can often be scarce and expensive. Additionally, ridesharing promotes safety by providing reliable transportation if you plan on drinking alcohol during your visit.

Las Vegas Sphere Tickets: A Guide to The Venetian’s Incredible New Venue

The Sphere Las Vegas, the newest addition to the Venetian, is a revolutionary venue that has taken the entertainment industry by storm. Tickets are now available to see U2, Phish, and more at this incredible new venue.

Standing at over 360 ft. tall, it is the world's largest spherical structure and an architectural wonder. With 580,000 sq. ft. of fully programmable LED exterior, it is destined to be the next iconic landmark in the Las Vegas skyline. Designed by Populous, the spherical project was announced by the Madison Square Garden Company in 2018, known then as the MSG Sphere.

The Sphere is the newest music and entertainment venue in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is located right off the Las Vegas Strip, directly east of the Venetian, and there’s a pedestrian walkway connecting the resort to the venue. Construction was completed in 2023 and the first concert was headlined by U2. The Las Vegas Sphere is a fully immersive venue that offers unparalleled entertainment experiences for its guests. It is equipped with the latest technology, including a fully programmable LED exterior and a state-of-the-art sound system that is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who visits — seeing a show here is an experience irreplicable anywhere else.

The Sphere at the Las Vegas Venetian is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable entertainment experience. Whether you're a music lover, a sports fan, or just looking for a night out, you’ll find plenty of Sphere tickets to see your favorite bands at this incredible venue.

Evolution of the Las Vegas Sphere

The Sphere Las Vegas project was announced in February 2018, and construction began soon after. It was initially a partnership between the Madison Square Garden Company (MSG) and the Las Vegas Sands Corporation; in 2022, however, Apollo Global Management purchased the Venetian and became the MSG’s new partner on the project. Part of the sale of the resort involved Vici Properties taking ownership of the land beneath the Venetian Resort and Sphere.

Construction Milestones

One of the most notable construction milestones was the completion of the exterior shell, which is made up of a unique steel frame, which was designed to support the massive video screens that cover the exterior of the building. Another challenge was the design of the unique steel frame that supports the video screens, which had to withstand the Las Vegas area high winds, while also being able to support the weight of the screens. Installing the massive video screens required a team of highly skilled technicians who worked tirelessly to ensure that the screens were leveled and aligned correctly.

The results are all over social media, with visitors and brands posting funny images and videos of the Las Vegas Sphere — it’s definitely the talk of the town. Get your Sphere tickets and see this marvel from the inside!

Architectural Highlights

The Las Vegas Sphere is the largest spherical structure in the world, with a diameter of 500 feet and a height of 360 feet. The exterior of the building is covered in LED screens, creating a stunning visual display that can be seen from miles away. The Sphere is also designed to be environmentally friendly, with a rainwater collection system and a solar power system that provides energy for the LED screens.

The Sphere Seating Chart

When figuring out which Sphere tickets to buy, the Venetian’s new venue can seem overwhelming — it’s difficult to grasp exactly how the Sphere seating would look like. If you’re wondering which section will provide the best experience, the answer is that it depends on the event.

Which Las Vegas Sphere Tickets You Should Buy

The recommended seating options for a concert at the Las Vegas Sphere are generally located in sections 200 and 300. For an optimal view, you may want to choose Rows 7 through 16 in Section 206 or the first rows of the 400s. Although the 400s boast sweeping views of the screen, seats in this section are situated at a greater distance from the stage — and they’re somewhat steep, which isn’t ideal for visitors with fear of heights.

It’s important to be mindful when selecting seats in the 100 level, as being beneath the upper levels may result in attendees lacking a clear view of the expansive screen extending to the top of the venue. The 200 and 300 levels provide an optimal combination, delivering an unobstructed view from the floor to the ceiling and proximity to the stage where performers are positioned.

If you're attending The Sphere Experience show, the favored seats are situated in the 400s.

General Admission v Reserved Seating: What’s the Difference?

The primary distinction between general admission and reserved seating at the Las Vegas Sphere is that general admission lacks physical seats. However, it offers the best overall "seat" in the house by providing proximity to the stage and a direct screen view extending all the way up to the roof. In contrast, reserved seating assigns specific seats to ticketholders, typically within designated sections and rows.

The Sphere Las Vegas Stage and Screen Specifications

The inside of the venue is alight with a curving 270-degree screen that regales showgoers in its more than 18,000 seats with quick-shifting digital imagery. The screen is made up of 36,000 LED panels and stretches 160 feet high and 180 feet wide, making it one of the largest screens in the world. The Sphere also features a state-of-the-art sound system, with over 157,000 speakers and a bass system that can produce vibrations that can be felt throughout the venue.

The Sphere's stage is also impressive, with a diameter of 130 feet and a height of 65 feet. It can rotate 360 degrees, allowing performers to be seen from every angle. The venue also has an advanced rigging system that can support up to 400,000 pounds, making it possible to create elaborate stage setups and aerial performances.

With your Sphere tickets in hand, you can witness this engineering marvel first-hand!

Las Vegas Sphere Tickets and Performances

Phish at the Sphere in 2024

On November 30, 2023, Phish announced they would make a four-show residency run at the Venetian’s hot new venue in April of 2024. “From the moment we first heard about Sphere and its potential, we’ve been dreaming up ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas. We’re thrilled to present this completely unique experience to Phish fans,” Trey Anastasio, Phish guitarist and vocalist said in a statement.

Phish has been active since the 1980s and has a dedicated fan base that spans generations. The band is known for its live performances, which often feature extended improvisational jams and unique covers of other artists' songs. What’s even more interesting is that any Phishhead will tell you the band has never played the exact same show twice. In other words, fans will get an entirely different experience from each of the Phish Sphere 2024 shows, whether they go on April 18, April 19, April 20, or April 21.

Phish has a psychedelic groove that’s enticed several generations of fans, and the Sphere’s one-of-a-kind specs make it the perfect place for the band to experiment visually.  Find your Phish Sphere tickets through Event Tickets Center!
