From Newcastle, Australia comes edgy punk group Trophy Eyes. Established in 2013, Trophy Eyes featured a sound that blended melodically charged punk-pop with a hardcore crossover. The quintet released their debut album, Mend, Move On in 2014 and haven’t looked back since. Chemical Miracle, the band’s second full-length album, followed in 2017 and produced their hit single “Chlorine.” A standalone single, “Hurt,” was released in 2017 and marked a slight change in style from the group, featuring a more introspective sound with a larger-than-life chorus. The differing direction in sound carried through to their latest full-length release and third album, The American Dream (2018).
