The Highmark Theatre at Pittsburgh Playhouse is a dynamic and transformational event space located in the heart of Pittsburgh. It has been an iconic venue since it first opened its doors in 1921, situated on Forbes Avenue and part of Point Park University’s School of Performing Arts. It contains multiple performance categories including musicals, dramas and comedies as well as workshops and other events throughout the year. Notable alumni include Dixie Carter, Tony Award Nominee Jeffrey Mylett, Pam Myers-Morgan, Christina DeCicco and many others.
