The Eagles’ Sphere Residency Schedule

The Eagles started their Sphere residency in September 2024, just a year after the venue’s grand opening. Since the beginning of their residency, they’ve been fearless about subverting expectations; at their first Sphere show, they kicked off the night with “Hotel California,” rather than saving this huge hit for later in the night or the encore.

Since 2024, the new dates of the Eagles’ Sphere residency have been released on a rolling basis. While earlier this year, frontman Don Henley indicated that the band would disband following the end of their 2026 tour dates, the band has since added 14 dates from November 2026 to January 2027.

The Sphere Seating Chart

The Sphere’s screen wraps up and over the audience, making seating a bigger question than in a normal theater. The best seats for the Eagles at the Sphere vary depending on your preferences.

For the best balance of seeing the band and taking in the massive screen, the center sections of the 200 Level are a strong choice. Sections 205, 206, and 207 provide a centered view while keeping you relatively close to the stage. The center 300 Level, particularly Section 306, offers an even wider perspective of the screen and can be a good choice if the visuals are your priority.

If seeing the Eagles up close is more important to you than getting the full Sphere visual experience, look toward the lower 100 Level. However, seats farther back in the 100 Level can sit underneath the overhang from the level above, limiting how much of the upper screen you can see. For a more budget-friendly option, the 400 Level still provides a broad view of the screen, although it is farther from the stage and noticeably steeper.

Sphere Bag Policy

The bag policy for The Eagles at the Sphere is the same as any other show there. Any bags larger than 6” by 6” by 2” are strictly prohibited in the venue. Clear bags are not required, and clear bags larger than the venue’s size limit will not be allowed. The Sphere offers storage lockers for rent for fans who bring bags over the size limit.

Getting to the Sphere

Transportation planning can be the difference between walking into the show relaxed or running in stressed. The simplest options for out-of-towners to get around Vegas are rideshare and taxis. Add buffer time if you are looking for rides during prime traffic windows, like dinner and showtime. If you are stacking the Sphere with other big Vegas events, ensure you’ll have time to get to and from the venue for the show.

When to Arrive

Doors for Eagles shows at the Sphere are scheduled to open at 7:00 PM, with the concert scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM. Arriving around an hour before showtime gives you time to get through security, find your section, and grab any food or merchandise without rushing to your seat.

If you want to explore the venue before the concert, give yourself additional time. The Sphere is much more than the seating bowl, and part of the appeal is experiencing the building itself before the Eagles take the stage.

Pre-Show Experience

Once you’re through security, you’ll arrive in the Atrium. Much more than just an entryway, the Atrium is half the size of the venue itself. The Atrium normally features AI-driven humanoid robot greeters, called Aura; however, these aren’t on display for Eagles concerts.

Just because the Atrium doesn’t feature its typical robotic exhibitions, it doesn’t mean you’ll be lacking pre-show entertainment. When you take your seat for the concert, the vast LED display that differentiates the Sphere from any other venue is already lit up, showcasing an Eagles-themed cityscape.

How Long Is The Eagles Sphere Show

An Eagles concert at the Sphere typically lasts around two hours. The show’s start time is 8:30 PM, and recent Eagles Sphere performances have generally finished around 10:30 PM to 10:40 PM. Doors are scheduled for 7:00 PM.

The Eagles kick off their Sphere shows with one of their biggest songs: “Hotel California.” Rather than building toward the hit later in the night, the band puts it front and center as the opening song before moving through a career-spanning set of Eagles classics, solo songs, and covers. The “Third Encore Experience”

Third Encore gets its name from the Eagles’ tradition of continuing the party after their concerts. The immersive fan experience recreates a piece of the Southern California music scene that helped shape the band, with a “Hotel California” experience, Eagles memorabilia, and a merchandise store.

The centerpiece is a recreation of the legendary Troubadour nightclub, where Don Henley and Glenn Frey first met. The Troubadour replica is reserved for Vibee VIP guests, while the rest of Third Encore is free and open to the public.

For the Eagles’ 2026-27 residency, Third Encore is reopening in November at The Summit Showroom inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, just off Restaurant Row. It can be a particularly good stop for fans who want to make the Eagles concert into a full weekend experience rather than simply attending the show.

The cheapest Eagles Sphere tickets can vary significantly depending on the date, demand and location of the seats. The 400 Level is generally one of the more affordable areas while still giving you a broad view of the Sphere's massive screen.
