The Temple Performing Arts Center is a vibrant performing arts venue located in Philadelphia and serves as the primary home for the Temple University Music Department. Facilities include a 1,908-seat concert hall; 120-seat recital hall; lounge and courtyard spaces; classrooms for classes, rehearsals, and master classes; and dressing rooms for student actors and both vocal and instrumental performers.
Originally opened in 1997, the Center has a long history of hosting complete productions from around the world. Both students from Temple University, as well as professionals, have taken to its stages since its inception, creating hundreds of incredible works ranging from traditional music to interactive theater. From films to concerts to community events, there’s always something going on at this revered cultural center.
