The Los Angeles Lakers compete in the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association. The team was founded in 1946 as the Detroit Gems. They held this name until 1947 when they moved to Minneapolis and took the Lakers name. After 13 years, the team moved to Los Angeles in 1960 and has been there ever since.

The Lakers play their home games at the Crypto.com Arena. This venue opened in 1999, and is one of the most modern in the NBA. Although the Lakers share this venue with the Clippers, fans do not seem to mind. They only thing that they care about is making as much noise as possible when their team takes the floor.

The reason for the Lakers success over the years has been their many great players. Some of the best Lakers of all time include Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, and many more.

The Los Angeles Lakers have always been one of the best teams in the NBA. And it does not appear that this is going to change anytime soon!

The Crypto.com Arena is located in downtown Los Angeles, California. Built in 1999, this multi purpose arena plays host to hundreds of events year in and year out. Not only is the Crypto.com Arena home to professional sports events, but concerts and other shows are also held here on a regular basis. It is one of the anchors of downtown LA, and for this reason it is a major attraction for people all over the area. Many professional sports teams call both the city of Los Angeles, as well as the Crypto.com Arena home. Both the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angels Clippers of the NBA play their home games at the Crypto.com Arena. Additionally, the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks also share the arena. To go along with using the venue for basketball, the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL convert the venue into an ice palace for their home games.

Each year, the Crypto.com Arena hosts more than 250 events. Additionally, it sees more than four million visitors, making it one of the top venues in the entire country. In addition to high profile sporting events, many other events have taken place inside as well. These include the 2000 Democratic National Convention, the Latin Grammy Awards, and the Grammy Awards. And of course, due to the size and modern features many concerts are also put on inside the Crypto.com Arena each year.
