The Clarke Theatre Foundation is a vitally important non-profit organization in Mission, BC that strives to provide arts and cultural events for the community. Founded in 1988, the agency has since restored and reopened the historic Clarke Theatre—a former 1920s-era movie theater originally designed by architect John Anderson. The charming venue now hosts concerts, live theater performances, lectures, workshops, and more for residents of Mission. With its grand lobby, full stage, and proscenium seating for 841 patrons and balcony seating for another 312 people; the Clarke Theater was designated as a World Class Venue by the Canadian Council of Archives in 2005 and was given a heritage designation from Heritage BC in 2016, furthering its illustrious history as a beloved part of Mission's vibrant arts scene.

The mission is a charming town of 30,000 people, nestled in the glorious Fraser Valley. Here you can explore historic heritage sites and churches, savor fresh, farm-grown produce throughout the year at multiple farmers' markets, take a dip in one of many sparkling lakes, and enjoy a variety of biking trails.
