What to Expect at BTS in Los Angeles & How to Find Tickets
BTS brings The ARIRANG World Tour to Los Angeles next week, with four shows at SoFi Stadium on September 1, 2, 5, and 6. Each concert is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM, giving Los Angeles ARMY four chances to experience BTS' return to the U.S. Here's what to know before heading to the show, from getting there and navigating the stadium to what to expect once the concert begins.
When Is BTS Playing in Los Angeles?
BTS will perform four concerts in the Los Angeles area as part of the ARIRANG World Tour:
- September 1, 2026 - Inglewood, CA
- September 2, 2026 - Inglewood, CA
- September 5, 2026 - Inglewood, CA
- September 6, 2026 - Inglewood, CA
All four shows are scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM. The concerts will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, located at 1001 S. Stadium Drive.
How to Get to SoFi Stadium for BTS
SoFi Stadium is located in Inglewood, just south of Los Angeles. Fans driving to the BTS concerts can purchase parking in advance, which the venue recommends doing before event day. Traffic around the stadium can be especially heavy before and after major events, so allow extra time for the trip.
Rideshare is also available, although pickup can take longer after the concert when thousands of fans are leaving at the same time. If traveling with friends, decide where to meet after the show before entering the stadium.
The Venue Is Cashless
SoFi Stadium is cashless, so fans do not need to carry cash for food, drinks, or merchandise. Major credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment methods are accepted throughout the venue.
SoFi Stadium Bag Policy
SoFi Stadium has a clear bag policy, so check the size and type of bag before leaving for the concert. Permitted clear bags must be made of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and cannot be larger than 12" x 6" x 12". Clear bags, backpacks, and fanny packs are permitted as long as they are completely clear, with no tint, hologram, printed patterns, or stickers.
Fans can also bring one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, such as a Ziploc bag, or a small non-clear clutch bag measuring no more than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap.
Backpacks, purses larger than the permitted clutch, briefcases, diaper bags, cinch bags, luggage, computer bags, and camera bags are prohibited unless they qualify under an applicable exception. All bags are subject to security screening.
If you arrive with a bag that does not meet the policy, it will need to be returned to your vehicle or checked at a bag valet location when available. Bag valets are located around the stadium and may charge a fee.
What Can You Bring to the BTS Concert?
Traveling light is the easiest way to get through security. In addition to the permitted bags, fans can bring one factory-sealed water bottle of 20 ounces or less. An empty, clear, non-metal or soft-sided reusable water bottle of 20 ounces or less is also permitted for use at hydration stations inside.
Outside food and beverages are generally prohibited, except for medically required food and drinks in sealed containers.
Small personal-use cameras are permitted. Professional-grade cameras and cameras with detachable lenses or lenses longer than 6 inches are prohibited, as are GoPros, selfie sticks, and handheld extension poles.
Can You Bring an ARMY Bomb?
Yes, BTS fans can bring their Official Light Stick to the concert as long as it complies with the venue's permitted-item rules. An ARMY Bomb is an essential part of the concert experience, especially when the entire stadium lights up together during BTS' biggest songs.
Can You Bring BTS Freebies?
Small fan freebies such as photocards, stickers, or keychains should be kept within the permitted bag requirements. Since all items are subject to security screening, avoid bringing anything that could be considered a prohibited item.
How Early Should You Arrive for BTS?
For an 8:00 PM BTS concert, plan to arrive around 5:30 PM. That gives you about two and a half hours before showtime to account for traffic or parking, get through security, and find your seat without rushing.
Getting there early also means having time to take in the ARMY atmosphere around the stadium. With fans traveling from across Los Angeles and beyond for all four shows, the pre-concert experience will be a major part of the night, with thousands of ARMY members gathering together before BTS takes the stage.
By arriving around 5:30 PM, you can settle in and enjoy the buildup to the concert rather than trying to make it through the gates right before the show starts.
How Long Is the BTS Concert?
BTS' ARIRANG World Tour concert runs for roughly two and a half hours, although the exact runtime can vary slightly from night to night depending on the encore and other parts of the show.
Since the Los Angeles concerts begin at 8:00 PM, fans should expect the performance to continue into the late evening. If you're arranging a ride or planning a post-concert meetup, don't schedule it immediately after 10:00 PM. The show itself is only part of the time needed to get home, since exiting a packed stadium and navigating post-concert traffic can take additional time.
Does BTS Have an Opening Act?
BTS concerts do not have a traditional opening act. Instead, the show uses on-screen projections and VCRs for openings and transitions between acts.
That means fans don't need to arrive expecting another artist to perform before BTS. The pre-show experience is focused on the ARIRANG production itself before BTS takes the stage.
ARIRANG Tour Setlist
The ARIRANG World Tour is divided into three acts, with a rotating selection of songs appearing during the encore. While the exact setlist can change from night to night, fans in Los Angeles can expect a mix of newer material, remixes, and longtime BTS favorites.
