What to Expect at BTS in Foxborough

By the time BTS reaches Massachusetts, the seven-member group will already have completed a major portion of the tour, giving fans a good idea of what's in store. The production centers around a 360-degree rotating stage, allowing BTS to perform to every side of the stadium throughout the night.

ARMY also tends to arrive hours before showtime, with fans gathering throughout Patriot Place to trade photocards, hand out freebies, and meet other concertgoers before entering the stadium. Expect the atmosphere around the venue to feel more like an all-day fan event than a typical concert.

Where/When is BTS Performing

BTS will take the stage at Gillette Stadium at 8:00 PM on August 5 and 6. The shows will make history as the first and biggest headlining K-pop concerts held at the venue. While the shows don’t start until 8:00 PM, fans are sure to arrive well before showtime.

When to Arrive

The parking lots open at 4:00 PM, marking the start of fan congregation at the venue, even though doors don’t open until 5:30 PM. Many fans will start to line up before doors even open, preparing to score limited-edition merch or the best barricade spots in the venue. Arrive anytime between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM for a smooth entry into the venue.

With a door time earlier than many shows, ARMY members don’t need to hurry and arrive strictly at door time to make the concert. As long as you arrive an hour before showtime, you should have plenty of time to park, get through security, and find your seats before the show.

Parking

Gillette Stadium features prepaid parking lots that are closer to the stadium entrances and free general parking farther away from the entrances. Purchase parking passes online if you’d like the convenience of a reserved spot, or plan to park in the general parking area for free, as long as you’re okay with a slight walk to the venue.

Parking lots open well before showtime (4:00 PM), and traffic into Foxborough can become extremely heavy on concert days. Plan to arrive early if you'd like time to explore Patriot Place, pick up merchandise, or meet up with friends before entering the stadium.

Bag Policy

Gillette Stadium follows a clear bag policy for concerts, although small non-clear clutches up to 4.5” by 6.5” are permitted. Larger bags must meet the stadium's clear bag requirements and cannot exceed 12” by 6” by 12”. Check the official event guide before heading to the venue, as event-specific policies can change.

Getting There

Gillette Stadium is located about 30 miles southwest of Boston. Most fans drive, though special event train service is also available for major concerts. If you're driving, expect delays before and after the show and allow extra travel time.

For MBTA special event train service, the train departs at 5:25 PM from South Station, stopping twice before arriving at the stadium around 6:25 PM. Find more information on purchasing a train ticket from Boston.

BTS Opening Act

BTS concerts do not have traditional opening acts. Instead, BTS uses on-screen projections, dubbed VCRs, for openings and transitions between acts. Rather than watching an unknown opener, fans can sit back and enjoy more of their favorite K-pop artists.

ARIRANG Tour Setlist

The ARIRANG World Tour is divided into three acts and has featured a rotating selection of songs during the encore portion of the show. While the setlist can change slightly from night to night, fans attending the East Rutherford concerts can expect a mix of newer tracks, remixes, and classic BTS hits.
