Transportation

Spectrum Center is in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, with several ways to get to the show. Here’s what to know about parking, public transportation, and rideshare before Olivia Rodrigo takes the stage.

Parking

Spectrum Center is located in Uptown Charlotte, with nearly 30,000 off-street parking spaces within a 15-minute walk of the arena. Public and private garages, decks, and surface lots are available throughout the area, though availability, prices, traffic patterns, and access routes can vary by event. Spectrum Center also directs guests to SpotHero to find and reserve parking in nearby lots and garages.

For a high-attendance concert like Olivia Rodrigo, give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the arena.

Public Transportation

Public transportation is an option for getting to Spectrum Center. The arena is adjacent to the CTC/Arena Station on Charlotte's LYNX Blue Line and sits across Trade Street from the Charlotte Transportation Center. Spectrum Center specifically encourages public transportation for high-attendance events.

Guests can also use Charlotte's bus system and street trolleys, with the arena located next to the city's main bus terminal.

Rideshare

If you're taking Uber or Lyft, rideshare drop-off and pickup locations can change depending on traffic, road closures, and public-safety operations. Spectrum Center says East 5th Street is generally the most convenient location, but guests should follow directions from their rideshare app, posted signs, law enforcement, and arena staff when they arrive.

When Should You Arrive?

The show is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM, and current tour listings show doors opening at 5:30 PM.

Plan to arrive about an hour before the show so you have time to park or get dropped off, go through security, find your seat, and grab anything you need before Wolf Alice takes the stage.

Spectrum Center notes that entrance and screening procedures can vary by event, so arriving early is recommended.

Spectrum Center Bag Policy

Spectrum Center has a strict bag policy. Only small bags, clutches, crossbody bags, and wristlets measuring 5 inches by 7 inches by 1.5 inches or smaller are permitted. The size limit applies to both clear and opaque bags, meaning a larger clear bag is not permitted.

Backpacks, larger purses, fanny packs or belt bags, totes, shopping bags, briefcases, luggage, camera bags, cinch bags, and drawstring bags are prohibited.

Exceptions may be made for diaper bags accompanying an infant or young child, bags required for medical or disability-related needs, and breast pumps and related supplies. Exception bags are still subject to screening.

Spectrum Center recommends bringing only essential items to help speed up the entry process.
