Fans Predict Madonna Tour Is Coming – Be First to Snag Tickets

Emma Hellmer | July 2, 2026

With the release of Madonna’s new Confessions II album anticipated for July 3, 2026, 20 years after the generational Confessions on a Dance Floor, fans speculate Madonna will return to touring soon.

Celebration Tour and Recent Projects

Madonna finished the Celebration Tour in 2024 and soon after began teasing the release of the sequel to her 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor. Knowing the album that birthed the meteoric dance hit “Hung Up” will soon get a second part, fans expected the new album to be a lively club celebration.

New Album: Confessions II

The first singles off Confessions II debuted in April, including the dance track “I Feel So Free” and a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter. The duo launched the song “Bring Your Love” live when Madonna was brought on as a special guest during Carpenter’s Coachella Weekend 2 headlining set. “Love Sensation,” another upbeat electronic-forward dance number and the third single off the album, was released on June 4, 2026. The tour is set to debut on July 3, 2026.

Hints of a New Tour

Fans started speculating about a potential Confessions II Tour the moment the album was released. While Madonna has not yet confirmed or denied these rumors, she has made it clear she is not shying away from live performances and lives to create experiences on the dance floor.

Her 2026 Return to Performing

Madonna has been busy in the first half of 2026. Her album lead-up has included several performances with more to come, showing she's not shying away from live performance.

Coachella and Pride Performances

Madonna's special guest appearance during Sabrina Carpenter’s set was her first performance since the finale of her last tour in 2024. She performed crowd favorites "Like a Prayer" and "Vogue" before debuting her new collab with Carpenter.

Since this Coachella performance, Madonna also performed in Times Square on June 4, 2026, for a surprise Pride Month celebration concert.

World Cup Finale Halftime Show

Madonna is one of three world-famous acts set to perform during the World Cup finale halftime show, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay. International superstars Madonna, Shakira, and BTS will all grace the stage for the biggest night in soccer, which will take place at New York New Jersey Stadium. Madonna is expected to perform some of her greatest hits and potentially songs from her new album.

Instagram Teasers

Madonna’s posts since the album announcements have led fans to believe a tour is imminent. She hasn’t shied away from anticipation-building verbiage, leaving fans highly expectant. For example, on a recent post, her caption emphasized the importance of dance spaces and the community that can be built on the dance floor. She finished the message, “See you on the Dance Floor!” insinuating a tour is coming.

Promising Panel Quip

After debuting her new 10-minute visual album, “Confessions II - The Film,” at the Tribeca Film Festival, Madonna addressed tour speculations.

She dodged the idea of a Las Vegas residency, saying, “The Sphere is cool, but I don’t want to wake up every morning and see Vegas.”

However, she wasn’t as definitive about whether she’ll tour in general. She said, “I could go on tour… I never want to repeat myself.”

If she does tour for the new album, expect a show that’s both fresh and heavily dance-forward.
