Olympic Program Exerpts
During the “American Gold” segment of the show, the Olympians perform excerpts of their Olympic programs. For example, Ilia Malinin performs a segment of his 2026 free program to “A Voice,” and Alysa Liu is anticipated to perform some of her gold medal-winning free skate to “MacArthur Park.”
Amber Glenn is performing her “Like a Prayer” short program, during which she suffered a missed jump at the 2026 Games. Bringing it back for Stars on Ice will be a chance for redemption and celebration of this routine.
Never-Before-Seen Programs
Alongside tried and true programs, like Madison Chock and Evan Bate’s free dance to “Paint it, Black,” some skaters will debut all-new routines. For example, “Quad God” Ilia Malinin is performing a new routine to a mashup of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” and “Jump Around” by House of Pain. This high-energy routine is a show stopper with several backflips in a row.
