About the Event

Monster Jam is the ultimate live motorsport event experience, combining high-octane excitement with family-friendly entertainment. For more than three decades, Monster Jam has thrilled fans around the world with its breathtaking displays of power and agility. At each event, massive trucks decked out in vibrant colors and themed after popular characters—like Grave Digger, El Toro Loco, and even Scooby-Doo and Bakugan trucks—take the stage to showcase their awe-inspiring capabilities. It’s a showcase of speed and competition that features incredible stunts and even car-smashing feats that defy gravity.

Monster Jam is usually composed of three primary competitions: racing, which involves competitors racing with each other on a dirt track; two-wheel skills, where drivers have to perform various tricks such as wheelies and cyclones while balancing their trucks on two wheels; and freestyle, where each driver has a chance to showcase their driving and maneuvering abilities with jumps and spins. All three segments of the event differ in their nature, but they are all designed to show the wonders of what these monstrous trucks can do, which is also what makes them so exciting to watch.

In 2024, Monster Jam introduces even more thrills with the debut of new performances, never-seen competitions, and newly designed trucks that elevate the show. This season also marks the return of beloved veteran drivers alongside up-and-coming rookies, all ready to tackle both the new and classic challenges of the competition. The freestyle events are known to be the most dynamic as drivers display their creativity in the air through stunts such as jumps, backflips, and donuts, and this season they’ll need to face "The Monstergon," a new obstacle that is designed to enhance the challenge and the excitement of the event. All of this makes Monster Jam not just an exhibition of motor skills but also an unforgettable experience for the entire family.

Opening in 1998, it stepped in for the beloved original arena built back in 1938 and taken down in 1994.

For those who prefer to be a bit further back, seats within the last 10 rows near the center of the lower level offer an excellent view of the action on the dirt track. From here, you can expect to be amazed by the spectacle and might even be covered in dirt by the show's end. Near the front of the lower level but on the ends, the seats provide a prime view of the parked trucks, and the drivers often interact with fans in these rows, making for a memorable experience. Going to Monster Jam is an experience like no other. The roar of the engines, the crunch of metal, and the crowd's cheer create an electrifying and infectious atmosphere that you only see in a few events. Fans can expect an energy just as high as the noise levels of the trucks themselves. We really recommend you bring hearing protection, especially if you’re going with children, as the thunderous sounds of 1,500 horsepower engines revving and tires crushing metal can be pretty intense.

Monster Jam is all about fan interaction and engagement, where crowd participation plays a big role in the overall experience. Fans are not just there to watch the show, they’re actually a big part of it, cheering on their favorite trucks and drivers. Each event lasts for about two hours, and it features various competitions and performances, ensuring that every minute of it is full of excitement.
