Meet Veil Of Maya
From the suburbs of Chicago comes metalcore outfit Veil of Maya. The group released their debut album All Things Set Aside in 2006 and would spend the next two years touring extensively across the nation to promote the record and expand their fanbase. Eventually the group was able to set enough time aside to record their sophomore album, and The Common Man’s Collapse followed in 2008. Veil of Maya would go on to release four more albums over the course of the next nine years, including ID (2010), Eclipse (2012), Matriarch (2015), and False Idol (2017). Their hard-hitting sound is characterized by incorporating elements of djent and deathcore subgenres.
