Tom Lee Park is a beautiful city park located in Memphis, Tennessee just west of downtown. It sits atop the iconic and historic Memphis "Mud Island" and has served as the site of many outdoor events down through the years. It was named after Tom Lee, a local hero who saved the lives of 32 passengers when the steamship MV Sultana sank in 1865.

Tom Lee Park opened in 1982 and encompasses 90 acres along with a scenic Monument along the Mississippi River. Visitors can enjoy the well-manicured grounds and take in some stunning panoramic views of the Mississippi River. There are miles of trails that provide beautiful vantage points across both Elzey Avenue and Riverside Drive. The park is a great spot for a fun family day out, or to see some of your favorite musicians perform live. It also hosts festivals, free concerts, hot air ballooning, and the popular Beale Street Music Festival kicking off in Memphis in May.
