Meet The Prodigy
Electronic music group The Prodigy emerged from England’s underground rave scene in the early 1990s. Lead by producer and group founder Liam Howlett, the band shot to the top of the charts near the end of the decade, successfully crossing over into mainstream pop. Their explosive live performances dazzled audiences across the globe, seamlessly blending the British rave scene with arena rock show antics, taking the world by storm. Also known as “the Godfathers of Rave,” The Prodigy are considered pioneers of the big beat genre. The group has sold over 30 million records worldwide, winning several awards throughout their career including two Brit Awards and two Grammy Awards.
